KATHMANDU: Travel content creators from seven countries have arrived in Nepal under a collaboration between the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and TikTok. The initiative aims to promote Nepal's tourist destinations to a global audience through social media and digital platforms.

The invited creators are from France, Portugal, Tunisia, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

During their stay, they will produce videos and digital content featuring Nepal's natural beauty, cultural heritage, adventure activities and other aspects of tourism. The content will be shared globally through social media platforms, including TikTok.

NTB Senior Manager Surya Thapaliya said three creators from the UAE and Tunisia are currently exploring Pokhara, while the others are travelling across Kathmandu.

Their content is expected to spotlight destinations including Pokhara, Chitwan and Bardiya, along with other sites of cultural, historical and tourism significance across the country. The creators are also expected to showcase Nepal's Himalayan landscape, cultural heritage, adventure tourism and local way of life to international audiences.

This version keeps the lead concise, places the news peg (arrival) in the first sentence, and moves the purpose to the second sentence, which is more in line with standard hard news structure.
